For more than 90 years, Elegant Packaging has provided packaging solutions to address this complex challenge.

Elegant Packaging is regarded as one of the premier designers and manufacturers of customized Rigid Specialty Boxes, Presentation Binders, Soft Sewn Packaging, and Compression Thermal Forming. These products are sold to various industries including the advertising, computer, confections, cosmetics, education, electronics, entertainment, medical, publishing, software, and toy/game industries.

Elegant’s success has been built on nearly a century of manufacturing experience. Founded in Chicago in 1910 as Pharmacy Box Company, the company merged with Elegant Paper Box Company in 1967. Pharmacy produced pillboxes for the delivery of prescription medicines and Elegant, which opened in 1911, made specialty boxes. Together they formed Pharmacy-Elegant Paper Box Company in 1982. In January 1998, the company took yet another step on its journey of progress when it changed its name to Elegant Packaging. The new name better reflects what the company does, and how it intends to do business in the future.

Today, Elegant Packaging operates in a modern 100,000 square foot facility located in Cicero, Illinois - just west of downtown Chicago. We are centrally located in the Mid-West allowing us to handle national distribution effectively while achieving maximum production efficiencies with all manufacturing in one facility.
